he description of the temple, known in the Byzantine literature as ecphrazis, comprehends permanent movement, of the eye, its permanent transfer from one to another architectonic element where the temple’s harmony and beauty is fully attained. The beauty of the temple’s space is not attained exclusively as architectonic beauty but as a center of unity of artistic and spiritual contents, as the focus of all beauty, as the integration of two worlds: the earthly and celestial. The ecphrazis comprehends not only description of the construction but also permanent movement from the object of description to the entity observing.

In the project “Sculpture-Temple” of Zarko Basheski a triple palindrome relations is established: between the artistic and the architectonic (sculpture and temple), between the different time levels and trough palindrome dynamic movement of the vision.
